Diary Extracts - September 2007
Tuesday 28th August
I've started to play basketball in the mornings and do weight training in the afternoons. After only four weeks I'm feeling better and fitter - even Jeff (who visits every six weeks from the British Embassy in Bangkok) noticed the difference!
Wednesday 29th August
Great day today. Letters from Mum, Dad, Lesley & Dennis and a very nice sounding girl from Wigan - there are some good people out there!. I wrote to Marie today, she now lives in Italy but visited me for about three months when she was in Bangkok.
Tuesday 4th September
Good day today - 2 letters - one from Marlen who is about to go travelling in India and will be keeping me updated of her progress and a postcard from Rowland to say he will be coming to see me on the 6th - only two days to wait! Have got about five things on the go at the moment for my web site - I make a start on something then start on something else!
Thursday 6th September
Brilliant day - a visit from Rowland. Had a really good chat with him. Have finally finished an article for my web site!
Monday 10th September
It's Monday, there's not a lot going on but still had something to put a smile on my face - a bloke who came to see me last year wrote to say he's coming back this year, I am looking forward to the visit he's a good man. Jim H - see ya soon!
Tuesday 11th September
Again a good day - two letters today, Mum and an aunt. My aunt full of demands for more information for my web site - she's the worse one - but I do it so maybe the pushing will work! Also I had a visit from two girls from Texas, USA. They are here to study and will be going home soon but still took time out to come and see me - nice one!
Wednesday 12th September
Another two letters! Sharon & Dave and Stevie D. Stevie's been writing to me for a long time and also sends books and parcels. Sharon & Dave - I'm happy for Jason - well done mate and Mark's a Dad again - well done.
Monday 17th September
Have been really busy today and have got a lot completed to go on my web site. It will all be going in the post to England today.
